24th of July

We go to Monicello every year over the 24th. We all take our campers up on the mountain and camp and then go down into town for all the festivities. They have a little bike parade for the kids. Brooklynn was in need of a new bike. She had outgrown her old little one. So Jay took her to a bike shop in Moab and she picked one out. She was SOOO excited to finally have a cool bike like Lexie.

 

Jay took them on a bike ride to the gas station to get a treat. They loved every minute of it!

Our dog Tank loved the cooler weather.

When we got to Monticello, all the cousins told us that they had tranquilized a bear and wanted us to come check it out. I guess they have been having lots of bears on the mountains and down in town!

It was pretty crazy to see a big bear up that close. It stunk really bad!

The kids look forward to this trip every year. They love playing with all their cousins and riding their 4 wheelers around everywhere and just getting dirty!

They have a cute parade every year. The kids get all dressed up in their red white and blue.

 

Tank has not been feeling very good. He has a big growth on his side and problems with his um private area.. We were told there was a good vet that lived in Blanding 20 min away. Hes an old farm doctor. When we pulled up it looked like something out of a horror movie! I was scared!!

Poor Tank didn’t want to get out of the truck! I don’t blame him!! There were all these animals roaming around everywhere.

CREEPY!!! I’m not sure if he knew really what he was talking about. He gave us some pills he went and dug up out of his house and told us to try those and charged us $20 total. I guess we will see!! haha

At least there was a pretty rainbow on our way back!
